THE PET TALES / THE DETAILS

FAQs

Practical answers about making, keeping and sharing a tale. Every tool also includes a Before you go section with questions specific to its method.

Are the tools free and do I need an account?

All six included tools are free to use without sign-up, subscriptions or trial limits. Your normal internet, device and printing costs may still apply. No public pet profile is created.

Where do my tool inputs go?

The tools process them in the current browser page only. They do not call a tool server, online AI model or social platform. The browser still requests the website pages and assets from the host, which may keep ordinary access logs.

Are my pet’s photos or details saved?

There is no photo upload, camera feature, input database, cookie-based draft or localStorage saving. The toolkit does not persist your tool inputs. Avoid personal details anyway, and consider browser autofill, extensions or shared-device access separately.

What happens if I refresh or leave a tool?

The toolkit does not restore a draft. A browser may independently retain page state when using Back or its own recovery features, but there is no promised recovery or backup. Download anything you want to keep before leaving.

Does a result get published automatically?

No. There is no story feed, social account connection or automatic posting. Printing, downloading or copying text does not publish it. You decide whether to share a file or visit a separate platform.

Are these AI tools?

They are local template, filtering and planning tools. The story builder arranges your supplied moment with short editorial framing; the other tools use fixed lists and calculations. No remote AI service is involved.

Can the story builder know what my pet thought?

No. A first-person pet voice is explicitly imagined creative framing. Your description is not independently verified, and a story is not a behavioural or veterinary assessment. Edit or remove any line that does not fit.

How do I print or download a result?

Generate a result, then use Print / Save PDF or Download result. Printing opens your browser dialog; PDF availability depends on your device. Downloads are plain-text files created locally, not uploaded copies.

Why did the name tool return fewer names?

A starting letter or length filter may leave fewer eligible names than requested. The tool reports the actual number and does not ignore a filter to fill the list. Broaden or remove a filter for more options.

What does the memory-book time estimate mean?

It allocates ten minutes per story page, groups pages into your chosen session length and rounds sessions up. It is an openly stated planning convention. Your actual writing pace and comfort matter more than the estimate.

Are celebration budgets live price estimates?

No. They divide your optional total into stated planning categories. Currency is a label, not conversion. Confirm actual costs, availability and product suitability yourself; the tool does not recommend food, treatments or care activities.

Is this veterinary or training advice?

No. The tools help with writing and organisation only. They do not assess health, behaviour or welfare and are not an urgent-help service. Ask an appropriately qualified professional about individual pet needs.

Can I enter HTML in a note?

Text is displayed literally rather than interpreted as HTML. Optional blank fields are omitted from the result. This is not a reason to enter private information: your browser, device, extensions and downloaded copies remain outside this toolkit’s control.

Does finishing the sharing checklist guarantee privacy?

No. It records what you marked reviewed; it does not scan a draft, detect identifiers, verify permission or certify compliance. Review the actual final content and destination platform yourself.

How does Contact work without collecting my details?

The page prepares a local enquiry draft without asking for your name or email. You can download it. If the owner configured a public contact email, a separate action opens your email app; you choose whether to send. No enquiry is submitted by the form itself.
